Many students are unsure whether to study a traditional A-level route or opt for a vocational qualification such as a First or National Diploma.
A-levels are very much an academic and examination based course and are considered the route to university, however many students prefer a more modular and bite-sized way of studying which is more assignment based. A National Diploma is equivalent to three A-levels and is accepted by many universities and employers. However, it really depends on the learning style of the student and what their aspirations are, to see which qualification is best for them.
To hear the two sides of the coin, here are our students who can tell you a little more about their experience.
